Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. Owlogic never asks for an e-mail address or a password. The online features use an anonymous player the app creates by itself.

Will my progress move to a new phone?

Yes, through Android's own backup to your Google account: sign in to the same Google account on the new phone and reinstall Owlogic.

What is a Parliament?

A group of owls is called a parliament. Start one from Home, share its six-letter code with family or friends, and every puzzle any of you solves fills the group's lantern for the week. Nobody is ranked, and nobody loses anything for a quiet week.

Why don't I see "faster than … of players"?

It needs a connection, and at least 20 other players who have solved the same puzzle. Until then the app doesn't guess.

What is Light the Forest?

A community event: every puzzle anyone solves lights a lantern. When everyone together reaches the target, a festival puzzle and a rare owl come to every player.

Can I play offline?

Yes. Everything but the online features works offline, and your solves are sent once you're back online.

How do I delete my data?

In Settings, or by e-mail: see delete your online data.
