Who we are

Owlogic is published by [publisher legal name], [address]. For anything about your data, write to privacy@norvane-studio.com.

The short version

Owlogic has no accounts. It never asks for your name, e-mail address, phone number or location, shows no ads, and contains no analytics or advertising code. A few features need our server; you can turn them off, and you can delete what the server holds at any time.

What stays on your phone

Your progress, settings and puzzles in play are kept on your phone. Android's own backup may copy them to your Google account, under Google's privacy policy; we never see that copy.

What reaches our server

Only while Online features are on in Settings (they are unless you turn them off):

What it is used for

We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or combine it with anything else.

Who sees what

The members of a Parliament see each other's owl name, species and rank, how many of the day's Daily Five each has solved, and the group's weekly total. Nobody else sees anything about you. Light the Forest shows only a total for everyone.

Where it is kept, and for how long

On a server we rent from OVHcloud in [country]. Nobody else processes it. It is kept for as long as you use the online features. When you delete it from the app, it is removed from the live database at once; nightly backups are kept for up to six months, so it is gone from those within six months.

Your choices and rights

Turn Online features off in Settings and nothing leaves your phone. To delete what the server holds, see how to delete your online data. You can also write to privacy@norvane-studio.com to access, correct or delete your data. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Owlogic asks no one for personal details. [State the audience you declare in Google Play's target audience settings, for example: "Owlogic is not directed at children under 13."]
